The Peppermint Pinwheels quilt pattern is constructed of two basic blocks.  Both block are beginner friendly.  Flying geese and Half square triangles are used throughout the quilt, using color to create shapes (including pinwheels) and draw your attention to secondary designs within the quilt.  The pattern was inspired by the ability to create primary and secondary designs by the use of color, as well as a quilt pattern that can celebrate any season.  While the pattern cover has hints of the Christmas season, the pattern is so versatile and easily adapts itself patriotic holidays, fall holidays (including Halloween), Valentines Day, and spring quilts (especially Easter)!  Make yourself a quilt of celebration!  Take a look in the gallery for some of the variations!
